Practical, respectful, one-on-one support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the families who love them.
These are private-pay (self-pay) support services available today. We are in the process of pursuing insurance and Medicaid provider enrollment — we’ll update this page the moment that changes.

Kiandra Hoggard brings 8 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and 10 years working with children and youth. She has previously operated an Alternative Family Living (AFL) home — this work is close to her heart, not just her profession.
She especially loves helping young adults discover their passions, connect with resources, pursue school or certifications, and build the safety, confidence, and skills to shape the life they want. She’s also deeply passionate about family reunification for youth in foster care — work that pairs naturally with S.A.F.E.’s Mothers Circle and family stabilization services.
Every service is one-on-one, non-hands-on support — coaching, navigation, and companionship, in person or by secure video.
Goal-setting, daily-living skills coaching, and self-advocacy support, one-on-one.
Help understanding services, waiver programs (like NC Innovations), school (IEP) processes, and next steps.
Accompanying individuals to build confidence in community settings — errands, appointments, and social activities.
A trusted companion for a few hours so caregivers can rest — companionship only, not hands-on personal care.
Coaching for the move from school to adult services, or between care settings.
